For a problem, it helps to tell us your phone model, whether it's Android or iPhone, the game version (shown at the bottom of Settings) and the level number.
Common questions
How do I restore “Unlock extras” on a new phone or after reinstalling?
Open the game, tap the gear on the home screen, then Restore purchases. Use the same Google account (Android) or Apple Account (iPhone) you bought it with. You don't pay again.
A purchase on Android doesn't carry over to iPhone, or the other way round, because Google and Apple sell it separately.
I paid but the game is still locked
Close the game fully and open it again. The game checks with the store each time it opens. If that doesn't work, use Settings › Restore purchases while online.
On Android, some payment methods take a while to confirm, and the game says the purchase is pending. It unlocks by itself once the payment goes through. If it's still locked after a day, email us.
How do I get a refund?
Payments go to Google or Apple, so they handle refunds:
- Android: follow Google Play's refund help. Requests within 48 hours of buying can usually be made straight from your order history.
- iPhone: go to reportaproblem.apple.com and choose “Request a refund”.
If a refund is given, the extras lock again.
Will my progress move to a new phone?
Progress is saved on your phone, not on our servers (we don't have any). It moves to a new phone of the same kind if your phone's backup is on: Google backup on Android, iCloud Backup or a computer backup on iPhone. Progress can't move between Android and iPhone.
What's free and what does the unlock add?
Free: levels 1–30, today's daily puzzle every day, the star shop, streaks, the Pastel and Night themes and four button designs.
“Unlock extras” is a single purchase, not a subscription. It adds levels 31–500, every past daily puzzle, seven more themes, eight more button designs and a welcome gift of stars and power-ups.
Can I buy stars?
No. Stars are only earned by playing: beating your best on a level or a daily, finishing chapters and reaching milestones. You spend them on undo, hints, clearing the tray, extra slots, streak freezes and button designs.
This level seems impossible
Every level has been checked by a solver and can be won. Some are marked HARD on purpose. Try a Hint: it shows a move that still leads to a win. Undo takes back a move, and restarting costs nothing.
I find some colours hard to tell apart
Each colour has its own pattern of button holes, so you can match buttons by pattern as well as colour. The Night theme (Settings › Theme) gives more contrast, and the unlock adds brighter themes.
How do I change the language or turn off sounds?
Tap the gear on the home screen. Settings has language (10 languages, or follow your phone), sound, vibration and theme.
Which phones does it run on?
Android phones running Android 8.0 or later, from Google Play, and iPhone, from the App Store. It works offline once installed. You only need a connection to buy or restore the unlock.
Do you collect my data?
No. There are no ads, no accounts and no tracking, and your progress stays on your phone. The details are in our privacy policy.
